This is an unusual baby blue leather and black leg Veranda Lounge Chair designed by renowned Italian architect Vico Magistretti for Cassina. It is in overall good condition, with light wear on the leg frame and footrest. The leather is also in good shape and has recently been reconditioned.

The chair shows exceptional aesthetic balance. Its sculptural base highlights the sleek and elegant design. A unique feature allows the separate folding of the back, arm, and footrests.

In Vico Magistretti's words: “To sit watching television without setting foot on the coffee table—to open this armchair and transform it into a sail that floats in the middle of the room—to lie down, to read, to love, sleeping wrapped in a plaid. Transforming the space around us by folding this leaf-shaped object is one of its characteristics: the magic carpet that folds in four like a blanket and opens like a leaf fluttering in the air.”
