A rare example of Isamu Noguchi's Light sculpture: 70XL shade pendant shade, kept in a 70XN box. 70XL shade: The bright red Sun and Moon stamp on the shade indicates that this is the earliest edition of Noguchi's Akari, and it has rarely been used. This work came from an estate in New Mexico, where the original owner brought it over from Japan. The shade is in good condition, with some discoloration and one small tear on the base next to the hanging frame loop. The tear is not visible once hung up since it will be facing up against the ceiling.
