The Eames time life "lobby" chair was designed in 1960 for the reception areas of the Time-Life building in New York by Charles & Ray Eames. The time life lobby chair combines the characteristics of some of the other iconic designs they developed around the same period. The wide seat, lounge height and relaxed pitch makes this chair very comfortable.

This early time life chair has a polished aluminum frame and segmented, tufted cushions in new Elmo Forest Green Leather upholstery. Leather armrests sit neatly on the aerodynamic curves of the metal frame, which is supported by a four-star base. Base and Chrome frame has been cleaned and has some patina. Polish upon customer request.
