Rare and collectible 1958 Eames lounge chair with ottoman, model 670-671 includes all distinct 1st generation details, restored and reupholstered by Herman Miller.

1st gen details:
1. Three screw armrests
2. Boot glide ottoman.
3. White medallion logo (in circulation between 1956-1964)
4. Silver cushion clips at up right angle.

This particular 1st generation has beautifully striking grain across all the shells, with matching production stamp number 712. This was fully restored by Herman Miller in 1990s:

1. New shock mounts stamped and dated.
2. Custom ordered cushions, with new foam and dacron, similar to the cushions in 3rd generation.

Upon customer request, we can offer replacing the cushion filler with down-filled fillings to match with the original design.
