Hans Wegner JH50 Chair, or more commonly known as the “Peacock Chair” had its name blessed by famous designer, Finn Juhl, and was designed in 1947 and produced by Johannes Hansen. This particular piece is from circa 1950s and is in overall good vintage condition with wear consistent with age and use, some visible scratches on the spindles under the chair and on one back spindle

Chair has been lightly refinished and re-corded. Stamped on bottom Johannes Hansen Produced in Copenhagen Denmark, proof of older circulation, as well as the Knoll International Paper label as the importer.
